What an exciting last league match of the season on a beautiful sunny day! During warm up, Coach Charles guided the boys through formation and positions for the match. Ealing started strongly with four attempts on goal in the first 20 minutes. An accurate assist from Kai led to a goal by Zeya in the 22nd minute. Our GK Ishaan made some great saves throughout and our defence team held their nerve with several defensive short corners and attacks on our goal. In the 39th minute, Bhim scored following an assist from Seb, with OMT scoring their first goal at 49 minutes. Coach Tej skilfully rolled the subs in and out and gave individualised feedback and coaching on the spot, keeping the bench focussed throughout. In the 58th minute, a fantastic assist from James, led to a tap in goal by Karim. Nick scored what Coach Sukhi described as a ‘text-book’ goal in the 59th minute, leading to an Ealing win. Final score Ealing 4-1 OMT. Well done Ealing Lions!
