Ealing Boys U16 Lions vs Hampstead and Westminster Boys U16s - Sunday 23rd February 2025 at St Augustine's
A high intensity, attacking game with lots of attempts on goal from the Ealing Boys U16 Lions and some amazing saves by the H and W goalkeeper. Our first goal came in open play by Kai, after an awesome assist by Lucas in the 10th minute. Bhim scored for us again in the 29th minute after an impressive dribble up the field. Ealing kept up the pressure during the first half and communicated well throughout. Coach Ash's half time team talk focussed on encouraging the boys to change their channel of play with advice to pass backwards at every pass in from the side line to establish these new channels of play. The team continued to be successful with another goal in the 65th minute by Kai after an assist by Lucas. Our GK, Roman was kept busier in the second half by the H and W team with them scoring a goal in the last second of the match to bring the final score to Ealing 3 - H and W 1.
