Ealing Girls U18s ( a team or U17s) embarked on a challenging journey to the south coast to face Folkestone in their U18 England Knockout Championship game. Aware of the strength of their opposition, the team prepared for a tough battle and gave it their all in an intense contest.

From the start, Ealing matched the hosts in terms of ball possession, showcasing determination and resilience. However, Folkestone’s clinical finishing, supported by several Academy and England age-group players, proved decisive. They managed to repeatedly break through Ealing’s defense to find the back of the net.

The second half saw a spirited response from Ealing, who pushed forward with renewed energy. Breaking through Folkestone’s midfield defense, the team created multiple opportunities, including several shots on goal and short corners. Unfortunately, despite their relentless effort and pressure, they were unable to convert these chances into goals.
