As DJ Khaled eloquently put it - in the first single from his third studio album, We Global - The Rams were “Out Here Grindin", away from home, on a slippery pitch.
Against street wise, and well organized opponents, The Rams toughed it out. They were subjected to a mesmerizingly well drilled ‘washing machine’ rotation of their opponents in midfield & up front, but everyone stuck to their foes like a bad smell.
However, Chiswick could not withstand the relentless attacks on their goal mouth & succumbed to a really skilful close range shot by Sam. Oskar then extended the lead with a sharp shot from a short corner. He was tenacious throughout the entire match, and well deserved MOTM.
The game was scrappy in the second half with The Rams going close several times as Chiswick were tiring. Jem was bundled to the floor & whacked in the head, drawing blood from a nasty gash on his forehead. Steri-Strip for that man! The Rams were denied a clear penalty flick. Then all hell broke loose as Chiswick were awarded a contentious penalty flick of their own.
No matter. The boys kept DJ Khaled’s mantra in their minds and were “Out Here Grindin" to their second successive win of the year. VAMOS RAM-MOS!
