The W1s played at home this week against Eastcote hockey club, coming away with 1-1 draw. The first half was tightly fought and there was nothing between each team. Eastcote started the second half fiercely and were rewarded with a goal three minutes in. Not to be outdone, the W1s matched their opposition’s energy and Daisy won out in a scrap around the goal to equalise. Goalkeeper Lucy was awarded player of the match for her amazing defence of numerous short corners. Another point on the board before the half term break!
