The W1s trekked across to Mile End this week to play mid-table side East London. The first half was tightly contested, with both teams playing strongly. It was 0-0 going into the second half and Ealing had push-back. A brilliant lead, followed by a cool 1v1 with the keeper saw Annabel score the first goal of the day. East managed to equalise later on and an unfortunate short corner in the 72nd minute saw them clinch the win. Final score 2-1 to East London. Player of the match went to Mia, our keeper, who stepped up with confidence and made a series of brilliant saves.
