For the second time in as many weeks, the Buzzards fought back strongly from 3 goals down. But again they couldn’t quite do enough to take a point.

In an excellent first half defensive display, Ealing held the opposition at bay and themselves had a penalty corner goal controversially disallowed. So it was a shame to go in 1-0 down at half time after a quick H&W goal on 23 minutes. After only 5 second half minutes it was 3-0 and the game looked dead. But these girls do not give up without a fight. A wonder-goal from Cleo was followed by several good chances, but 3-1 it remained. Special mention to Leia, Betty and Maika for stepping up and performing so well.

At the half-way point in the season, the Buzzards are joint 3^rd in the T2A league but 7 points behind joint-leaders Richmond and H&W. We’ve now seen all the opposition teams, and frankly the Buzzards are easily capable of beating every one of them. So this season is still very much on.
