The Ealing BU16s kicked off 2026 in style with a strong 4–1 victory over Hampstead & Westminster. High pressing early on earned a short corner, converted by James to give Ealing the lead. Oscar doubled the advantage before half-time following some excellent passing around the D.
The second half was played at a high tempo with end-to-end hockey. Ealing continued to create chances and James added his second to make it 3–0. Hampstead & Westminster responded with a period of pressure and pulled a goal back, but Ealing stayed composed. Aanay was fouled in the D late on, and Oscar calmly converted the resulting penalty flick to secure the win.
A confident all-round performance and a positive start to the year. 🏑💪
